Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your booked hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing on the beach after your long flight and enjoying the calming coastal atmosphere. In the evening, witness a beautiful sunset over the Indian Ocean, creating the perfect start to your Sri Lankan journey. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Depart at 07:00 hrs for a refreshing nature walk at Udawatte Kele Forest Reserve, a tranquil sanctuary in the heart of Kandy. Enjoy a leisurely one-hour walk through lush greenery, spotting wildlife such as monkeys, hares, and a variety of bird species. Return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, depart for Nuwara Eliya, fondly known as “Little England.” En-route, visit a tea factory and tea plantations to learn about the production of world-famous Ceylon tea while enjoying scenic hill country views. After breakfast, depart for Udawalawa or Tissamaharama via Ella, beginning with a scenic train journey from Nanu Oya Railway Station to Ella. Upon arrival at Ella Railway Station, you will be met by your driver and transferred to visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views of this colonial-era marvel set amidst lush greenery. This unforgettable hill-country train journey, considered one of the most beautiful in Sri Lanka, winds through misty mountains, tea plantations, eucalyptus forests, deep valleys, and numerous tunnels, offering spectacular scenery throughout. After enjoying the Nine Arch Bridge, continue the journey towards Udawalawa or Tissamaharama, stopping en route to visit the picturesque Ravana Ella Falls. After breakfast, depart at 07:00 hrs for an excursion into the Sinharaja Rainforest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its exceptional biodiversity. Enjoy a guided walk of approximately 3–4 hours, during which you will encounter a wide variety of endemic and endangered plant and animal species, making this a truly enriching nature experience. After the walk, enjoy a refreshing bath in a natural pool within Sinharaja, surrounded by pristine rainforest scenery. Thereafter, return to the hotel and continue the journey to Kitulgala. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and visit the famous filming location of the classic movie “The Bridge on the River Kwai.” Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the booked hotel.

After breakfast, depart for Balapitiya to enjoy a tranquil Madu River boat safari, gliding through scenic mangroves and rich wetland ecosystems. Continue to the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, where you can learn about conservation efforts to protect endangered sea turtles. Thereafter, return to Bentota and spend the afternoon at leisure, relaxing on the golden beach, enjoying the calm coastal atmosphere and unwinding by the sea.

After breakfast, depart for Colombo International Airport. En route, enjoy a brief city tour of Colombo, taking in some of the city’s key highlights that showcase its vibrant blend of modern life and colonial heritage. Thereafter, proceed to the airport to board your departure flight, concluding your Sri Lankan journey with wonderful memories.
