We kindly request all guests on the group tour to plan their arrival in Sri Lanka one day prior to the official start date of the tour. Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and comfortably transferred to your hotel in Negombo. This additional arrival day allows you to rest after your journey, adjust to the tropical climate, and settle in at your own pace. It also ensures that all members of the group are together in Negombo the evening before the adventure begins. At 1900 hrs, a tour briefing will be conducted at the hotel, where you will meet your tour leader and fellow travelers. During this session, you will receive important information about the journey ahead, go through the itinerary, and have the opportunity to ask any questions. By the morning of Day 1, everyone will be refreshed, well-informed, and ready to begin the Sri Lanka experience together from Negombo.

After breakfast, depart from Galle and travel towards the picturesque hill town of Ella, with a stop en-route at the stunning Ravana Ella Falls, one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic waterfalls. Upon arrival in Ella, check in to your pre-booked hotel and take time to relax. In the early evening, visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge, an impressive colonial-era railway bridge set amidst lush greenery, followed by time to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the Ella Gap. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Ella.

After an early breakfast at 08:00 hrs, proceed to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can observe elephants up close in a natural setting. Return to Kandy and visit the beautifully landscaped Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya, renowned for its extensive collection of tropical flora and orchids. In the evening, enjoy a guided city tour of Kandy including a visit to a Gem Museum, Arts and Crafts Gallery, Silk showroom followed by a vibrant cultural dance performance. Conclude the day with a visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic to witness the revered evening ceremony, an important spiritual highlight of Sri Lanka. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Kandy.

Begin the day early at 05:15 hrs with a climb to Pidurangala Rock Temple, where you will be rewarded with a breathtaking sunrise and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Return to the hotel for breakfast, then depart for Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka’s second medieval capital, renowned for its well-preserved ancient ruins and rich historical heritage. On the return journey to Sigiriya, embark on an exciting jeep safari at Minneriya National Park, famous for its large herds of wild elephants and diverse wildlife. Later in the day, relax and rejuvenate with a soothing Ayurvedic massage in Habarana. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, head out to Pigeon Island National Park for a memorable snorkeling excursion. Located just 1 km off the coast of Nilaveli, this protected marine national park is renowned for its crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and diverse marine life, including colorful reef fish and black-tip reef sharks. The island is also home to rock pigeons, from which it gets its name, and holds historical significance as a former lookout point. After enjoying the marine beauty and tranquil surroundings, return to your hotel in Nilaveli. In the afternoon, depart from Nilaveli for a short drive to Trincomalee, one of Sri Lanka’s most historic and scenic coastal cities. Visit the sacred Thirukoneswaram Hindu Temple, dramatically perched atop Swami Rock and offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Continue with a relaxed city tour of Trincomalee, exploring its colonial heritage, vibrant local life, and key cultural landmarks. Enjoy a visit to Deer Park, where you will have the opportunity to feed the friendly deer in a serene natural setting. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Colombo International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of a memorable journey through Sri Lanka.
